President Uhuru Kenyatta has released a video with Thitima hit singers Kymo and Stigah in a campaign aimed at encouraging Kenyans to register as voters.

The campaign dubbed, G-Votie, seek to emphasize the importance of being a registered voter and taking part in the August 8 elections, with the tagline Kura Yako Kesho Yako.

The video released on Sunday has gone viral attracting over 70,000 views on Facebook within just three hours of its release.

The campaign adds to President Uhuru’s ongoing countrywide tour to encourage Jubilee supporters to register in large numbers and participate in the August elections.
