Nurses have ended their week-long strike that had paralysed health services in public hospitals following a meeting between Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN) and Council of Governors.
The meeting held Wednesday, saw both parties sign a recognition agreement effectively ending the strike.
Earlier, KNUN Secretary General Seth Panyako had led a walkout from the meeting calming the governors had decided not to sign the deal.
Doctors are however still on strike.
