Arsenal keeper Petr Cech has called on Premier Leageu teams team to pile pressure on league leaders Chelsea as the race for the title continues.
Speaking after their 4-0 away win against Swansea on Saturday, Petr Cech said the race for the Premier League title is still open noting that Chelsea’s good run may not last.
The former Chelsea keeper said the win against Swansea puts them in track for the title chase urging his team to ensure they pick maximum points in the remaining matches to close the gap between them and Chelsea.
Cech who won four premier league trophies with Chelsea before moving to Arsenal based his argument on his experience with the team which is having a great run under new manager Antonio Conte.
Chelsea are currently top of the league with 52 points, seven more than second-placed Tottenham and Liverpool and eight ahead of Arsenal.
Manchester City and Manchester United are paced fifth and sixth with 42 and 40 points respectively.
